Palomino PaloMini travel trailer 188BH highlights:
- Bunk Beds
- Murphy Bed

The kids are ready to go camping, are you? The bunk beds give the kiddos their own space to hang out on rainy days and sleep at night, plus having the private toilet and shower room just steps away is convenient. The queen Murphy bed up front gives you your own bedding, and in the morning you can easily push the bed back into the wall to relax on the sofa. The dinette will provide dining for two while the others can sit on the sofa, or outside under the awning. And someone can make warm meals using the cooktop, heat leftovers in the microwave, and store food in the refrigerator and pantry.
With any PaloMini travel trailer by Palomino you will appreciate better fuel efficiency provided by the lightweight construction and front cap, easy cleaning and maintenance of the exterior fiberglass, and better visibility from the narrow design. Inside you will appreciate the LED lights, kitchen appliances, and sleeping accommodations. It's time to check out all the amenities that make the PaloMini the choice for you!
Great StaffI would recommend these guys to anyone. From helpful sales folks to finance office I couldn’t have had a better experience. They took time with me to explain everything I needed to know and got me on my way to lots of family fun in our new toy hauler. Thanks Parris RV. - McKay

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.
In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.
The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.
