This Puma fifth wheel is going to give you an amazing weekend with its private sleeping area, its fully functional kitchen, its relaxing furniture, and its great bathroom! As you take your spouse out for a romantic weekend, you'll love that this unit has everything you need so that you don't have to guess as to whether or not you are missing anything. With the 32" x 40" shower with seat, there is plenty of room to rinse off without feeling cramped, and since there is a large linen closet right next to the shower, you can easily grab a towel when you're done. The U-shaped dinette is an excellent addition to this unit because it not only serves as a dining area, but also a sleeping area when it's folded down into place. You can keep snacks in the pantry which is right next to the residential refrigerator for an easy flow in the kitchen.

You know it's a great day when it starts with a Palomino Puma travel trailer, fifth wheel, or toy hauler because nothing else is better suited for adventure! There is a Puma for every lifestyle, and there are plenty of features that will enhance each of those lifestyles too. The Puma's construction is better built for lasting performance. The Puma has a rubber roof, a King HD TV antenna, a smooth, aerodynamic radius front metal with bold exterior graphics, residential-grade carpet with pad on slide outs, and a 5/8" Araucoply plywood floor decking. The Puma also comes packed with value since it gives you the features you need while traveling, like an electric awning with LED lights, preparations for WiFi, a Bluetooth stereo, an enclosed underbelly, an outside shower, and exterior speakers. Plus, the roller shades will help you keep the interior dark and private when you need it to be.

What Our Customers Are Saying

Great Service

We love our "new to us" trailer! I'll be honest and say that I almost walked away from it because of one sales person, Penny, but luckily everyone else there made up for it big time! The guy who did our walk-through with us was awesome, and gave us a lot of good tips and tricks since we are first time owners. The sales manager was also awesome and made sure we got a new tire put on after we saw a - Justine

Palomino Camping Trailer construction began in 1968 with the dream of Mr. Vern Landey. Mr. Landey had been a tent trailer distributor for several years when he felt he could design and produce better quality units than were currently being offered to the public. He would design units which were lightweight and offered convenient floorplans at affordable prices. He began designing and producing Palomino pop-up tent trailers in a small building in Savage, Minnesota.

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.

In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.

The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility.  In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.

In 2005, Forest River, Inc. and it's divisions were acquired by Berkshire Hathaway.  Palomino RV operates as a separate division of Forest River Inc., and has grown from humble beginnings in Minnesota to one of the top 5 RV manufacturing facilities in North America.
