We had a great experience working the salesperson Red. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. They didn't have what we were looking for; however, he had the 2018 Highlander 5th Wheel Toy Hauler coming in soon. He worked with the factory to get pictures and info for us. When John N. Dodgen, the founder, built the first prototype Born Free, and was on his way to British Columbia to put it through field tests with his wife and two of his children he stopped along the way at a store to make a purchase just 20 miles north of Humboldt on Highway 169. The store clerk had a sad tale to share and John took note. The clerk story began, "You know, we had one of those in our town and a school teacher owned it. She had a blowout and it flipped over and her six year old son, who was riding in the cabover was crushed." Stricken by this story, John N. immediately turned around with his family and returned to Humbolt where he and his team tore down the prototype and rebuilt it with roll bars. He vowed that every RV he ever built would be built with roll bars from this moment on!
